About the talk: As designers it is important that we can understand the technical processes responsible for bringing our creations into the world. Web design is no exception. Although learning to code may be an ideal first step, not everyone will have the time or the patience to become fluent. This explainer seeks to demystify web development for the uninitiated. It is targeted to those who design and create web content, but seek more literacy in its possibilities and limitations. It also offers insight into the developer’s brain – the ultimate goal being more fruitful collaboration and fluid workflow amongst interactive and creative teams.
