Dora Drimals is stopping over Houston for one night only to share the incredible story behind the award winning work at Hybrid Design. For nearly 25 years, multidisciplinary San Francisco studio Hybrid Design has translated eclectic interests and deep curiosity into impactful design for clients like Nike, The North Face, Pinterest, Sonos, and YouTube. Now, the studio has collected two decades of that work and philosophy in its first book, Hybrid: Curiosity in All Things.

Join us for an evening of inspiration and networking with your peers and flip through the 650 pages, featuring real project examples and a collection of insightful essays from the Hybrid Design team.

You wouldn’t want to miss it. Tickets are limited.

Evening Program

6:00 – 6:15 pm. —Arrive and Mingle over Refreshments
Allow yourself enough time to park and walk over to the studio. Checkin and enjoy light bites and beverages.

6:15 – 7:15 pm. —Conversation with Dora and Audience Q&A
Hear Dora as she tells the story of problem solvers, artists, craftspeople, and thinkers who thrive on the unexpected, followed by questions from the audience.

7:15 – 7:45 pm. —Book Signing & Networking
This will be your chance to meet Dora and purchase your own copy of Hybrid: Curiosity in All Things autographed by the author. Signed books will be available while supplies last.

Books will be sold at the event by Basket Books

About Campesino

Campesino Coffee is a Latino-centric coffee shop in the Montrose area. They serve all traditional coffee and espresso drinks found in typical coffee shops but are better known for the specialty drink menu featuring coffee and espresso drinks popular in Latino America. They only carry the best beans from Latin America. They feature a selection of Salvadoran style tamale baskets served with yuca, plantain, or potato chips as well as a variety of delicious pastries. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and cozy.
