Khalil AbuSharekh established Hakaya/the Story Tellers in 2012. Khalil is originally from Gaza, Palestine where he was born and raised. He studied graphic design/multimedia there. He lived several years in the United Arab Emirates working in multimedia. In 2008, he moved to the US and has been living in Houston, Texas since.
He is a freelance photographer and videographer. He works with commercial, non-profit and community organizations, using film to help them tell their stories.
Hakaya gallery opened in October 2012. It is located in Houston Texas at Spring Street Studios.
A 2nd Cup is a 501(c)(3) federal non-profit coffee shop fighting human trafficking in Houston, one of the most intense regions for human trafficking according to the Department of Justice. We are a unique combination of business and charity - using the funds we make through each coffee sale to fund our cause and end human trafficking in our city.

Reginald Charles Photography was created in 2016 by Reggie Mathalone. Reggie was born in London but now calls Houston home. He has worked across the country photographing musicians and artists; most notably film composer Gerald Busby, Houston soul band The Suffers, and neon artist Sarah Blood. His work appears in publications such as The Texas Tribune, Houston Press, and Instinct Magazine
