AIGA Unidos presents Hispanic Heritage Talks 2020: Charla with Walter Suhr

AIGA Houston is a proud collaborator of AIGA Unidos' first-ever event series, Hispanic Heritage Talks. This series of virtual talks will occur during Hispanic Heritage Month, and features Latinx and Hispanic creatives from different backgrounds and disciplines.

Join us on Thursday, September 17, as we Charla (chat) with Walter Suhr, bandleader/founder of MangoPunch! He will be sharing some of his music and answering ten questions about his creative process.

About the Artist

Mango Punch! is a six-time winner of a Houston Press Music Award. The band was formed by Walter Suhr, an award-winning songwriter, to provide musical entertainment with high standards of excellence and authenticity. Their uniquely diverse repertoire spans a broad gamut of styles: from Top 40, swing, disco, R&B, and country to salsa, merengue, vallenato, cumbia, and more.
