Here’s a nickel’s worth of Good F*cking Design Advice

This Wednesday, the city of Houston will be shaken to its very core by the arrival of Brian Buirge and Jason Bacher, the young bucks behind the design community powerhouse known as Good F*cking Design Advice.

GFDA is on a mission to inspire creatives – to work harder. To jump higher. To fall on one’s face and get right back up. To contribute to the design scene. To get shit done. We here at AIGA Houston couldn’t agree more – which is why we’ve invited them to take the stage as part of our first-ever Houston Design Week! They’re touring the states this fall in an old Dodge van, and Houston’s one of their big stops. Let’s be sure to give them a warm Houston welcome.

This will be the third-to-last (WHAT!?) event of Houston Design Week, so if you’ve been holding out for something to attend, scrape together $5 and come check it out. It’s at Houston’s historic Continental Club, and you know what that means – no f*cking asterisks (consider this your “I’d think twice about bringing the kids to this one, parents” warning). This will be one of the rowdiest nights of Houston Design Week, so bring some extra cash for the drink specials, and especially to pick up some sweet GFDA merch.

Tickets here.
