For this week’s installment in our Member Mix series, A Civil Fox’s Carissa Hempton put together an eclectic mix of her favorite tunes to get you ready for the weekend.

“My playlist is all over the place. But before I classify it as a crazy, eclectic mix of random songs, I’d love to position it as a group of songs, old and new, that collectively walk a thin line between rock, roll, rhythm and blues. Some of my favorite songs by these artists are the ones that are not as easy to classify in a particular genre. Typically I’m a “favorite song of the moment is on repeat for a week” type of person so I’m interested to see how these all match up!”
