Printers Guild Meeting Sat Apr 4 – “Branding by the Seat of Your Pants”
A note from the Museum of Printing History Printers Guild:

APRIL MEETING: Our next meeting will be Saturday, April 4, 10:00 at the Museum with a special presentation by Dallas-based graphic designer and letterpress printer, Casey McGarr, titled “Branding by the Seat of Your Pants.” Casey will explain how his work in commercial graphic design led him to letterpress printing, and will share some examples of his design and press work. Casey owns his own graphic design firm as well as a private press, Inky Lips Letterpress, where he prints with metal type, wood type, Linoleum and photopolymer on a Challenge press, two Vandercooks and a Heidelberg Windmill. He formerly worked as an Art Director with Arthur Anderson and as Creative Director at FOSSIL, and has taught design at Collin County Community College and Texas A&M in Dallas. In 2000-2001, Casey was president of the Dallas Society of Visual Communications which produces Rough Magazine.

This event is free to the public – all are welcome! The Museum is located at 1324 West Clay Street.
