About

Betelgeuse Betelgeuse

Betelgeuse Betelgeuse is a neighborhood cocktail bar and pizza place located in Old Sixth Ward in Houston, Texas. They are great for first dates, breakups, weird art, large groups, an afternoon cocktail while reading a book or finishing some work, karaoke, late night DJs, handmade cocktails, sci-fi bathroom hallways, and friendly bartenders. Is this a Beetlejuice themed bar? No, but the cool thing about the culture surrounding the star Betelgeuse is that there's a lot of history involving the afterlife that was source material for the writers of the movie. So there's quite a bit of crossover, and we also really love that movie anyway.

Locally, the Houston chapter focuses on building community, strengthening skills and advocating for design. We are a 100% volunteer-powered nonprofit organization.
