“Designers and front-enders have a unique advantage in solving the cultural problems in business that are sucking the life out of us.” What’s that unique advantage? Join us on Thursday, July 22 to find out in Justin Dauer’s virtual talk, Together: The Essential Fusion of Culture and Design. He’ll share insights about transitioning into management or seeking design jobs, explore methods for creating a positive work environment, and provide practical advice for boosting creativity among colleagues and employees. Plus, some lucky attendees will get a chance to win Justin’s book, Creative Culture: Human-Centered Interaction, Design, and Inspiration. Register today!
About Justin Dauer
Justin Dauer is a multi-faceted, multi-pierced, multi-tattooed designer, author, and speaker. He wrote the celebrated book Cultivating a Creative Culture, speaks internationally on culture and design, and is the Vice President of Human-Centered Design and Development at bswift. With Josef Müller-Brockmann and user advocacy claiming equal parts of his creative heart since graduating from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, he’s immersed himself in tangible and digital media over the past 20 years. As a perpetual student of human-centered design, observation, and creative process, Justin builds teams and cultivates cultures around the perspectives and skill sets we already use daily in our work: empathy, objectivity, and creativity.
